After an early breakfast, we'll embark on the trek. Dhunche is a five hours drive from Kathmandu. As we near Mulkharka (1890m) enjoy the panoramic view over the Kathmandu valley. The drive becomes more scenic with the peaks of Langtang and Ganesh Himal greeting us along the way.

  2. Dhunche to Chandanbari trek (3200m)

The first part of the trails ascends gradually leading to the village of Deurali. Passing by streamlets and suspension bridges takes us to Dhunche. The trail from here on starts to become steep and challenging. We will pass through pine, silver oak, and rhododendron forests along the way to Chandanbari locally known as Sing Gompa. Once you’ve had rest at the lodge, you can visit the old yak cheese factory and the monastery at Sing Gompa.
